Stephanie Prather, a native Californian, became inspired in her teens by
the versatility of the harp. After studying piano throughout childhood, her
sensitive approach found fulfillment when she turned her attention to the
most beautiful of all instruments, the Concert Harp. Stephanie, a member of
the American Harp Society, performs at weddings, receptions and parties in
the Los Angeles area as well as Santa Barbara and Palm 
Springs.
Recent engagements include the Lakeshore Country Club, Ritz Carlton Pasadena
and the Hyatt Westlake Hotel.
Sparkling renditions of classical and modern selections, standards and show tunes make up a delightful program. Performing Debussy, Gershwin, Kern, film themes, wedding marches and old and new love songs, Ms. Prather creates a rapport with her audiences. Her own arrangements are elegant and professional, lending a magical touch to large and small gatherings.
Stephanie the Harpist performs on a Salvi Orchestra Harp which is made of three kinds of Inlaid wood from Italy. Her Harp has a deep and resonant sound that lends itself to the strong full sound that Stephanie is known for.

this price includes a one half hour prelude, all the wedding music plus
a solo if the bride desires.
